About the Role
NCF is looking for an experienced Foreman – Utilities/Services to provide leadership and management across civil works (incl: kerb, pavement, service relocation- water/sewer/telcoms, excavation and/or basement construction projects).
This is a hands‐on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes pride in quality outcomes, and brings a strong background in civil construction, including services/utilities and pavement construction.
Key Responsibilities
Works including:
Water, sewer, stormwater, electrical underground installations and trench works
Earthworks & earthmoving equipment
Pavement construction
Lead daily site activities and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment
Plan daily activities and coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials.
Read and interpret plans, specifications and levels.




Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification
Support and mentor workers to uphold high standards and teamwork
Communicate progress with Project Managers and resolve site issues promptly
Uphold compliance with OH&S;, environmental, and quality requirements
Contribute to planning, productivity, and continuous improvement onsite
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
About You
Experience minimum 10 years as a Foreman in civil construction with significant experience with works involving Services/Utilities
Strong knowledge of civil works involving utilities/services, pavement construction and earthworks
Willingness to work across Melbourne Vic
Robust practical knowledge of civil works, including piling, excavation and basement projects
Ability to interpret plans, specifications and levels.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
