A leading logistics company are nowseeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to help plan, coordinate and optimise the flow of goods across Melbourne operations.

Responsibilities will include;
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including bookings, receivals and dispatch, to meet client delivery timeframes.
Liaise with the warehouse and transport teams to plan workloads and make the best use of people, space and fleet.
Maintain accurate records, documentation and system data, including PODs, stock movements and job paperwork.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, carriers and internal stakeholders, proactively keeping everyone informed and resolving issues as they arise.
Identify prospects to improve processes,



efficiency and the customer experience.

Skills and experience
Logistics, warehouse or transport coordination experience preferred but not necessary.
Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
Confident with computer systems; experience with a WMS or TMS is a bonus.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Excellent communication at all levels.
Ability to identify and solve problems as they come up.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
