The Opportunity:
In this role you'll join our thriving dangerous goods driving team and complete ISO Tank deliveries from the wharf to Melbourne metro customers and the rail network.
Take part in a comprehensive four-week training program where you'll learn to safely load and unload a variety of liquid products, deliver to customer sites and operate equipment including, ISO containers for import and export work.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MC dangerous goods driver with wharf experience, who can deliver high levels of driving competence and safety.
This role requires the following PPE Safety requirement:
Ability and willingness to meet all PPE requirements of the role, including maintaining a clean-shaven face where required to ensure the safe and effective seal of tight-fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) when undertaking dangerous goods activities.
This requirement is necessary to support the effective use of respiratory protection and compliance with applicable safety procedures.
You will:




Valid HC licence with minimum 12 months on road driving experience-mandatory
Dangerous Goods licence - mandatory
BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) accreditation- highly desirable
RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card- highly desirable
Clean driving history with no major infringements
Punctual, reliable, responsible, and positive approach to your working day
Ability to follow instructions, and to communicate effectively
Strong level of reading, speaking and writing English
Flexible mindset and understanding that the transport industry constantly changes
Excellent presentation and ability to interact with customers and always represent the company professionally
