As a CNC Waterjet Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Omax waterjet cutting equipment while ensuring quality standards and production targets are achieved.
Key responsibilities
Set up and operate Omax CNC waterjet cutting machines
Prepare, load, and run CNC cutting programs
Read and interpret engineering drawings and production documentation
Verify materials and job requirements before processing
Monitor machine performance and cutting quality throughout production
Make adjustments to maintain accuracy and cut quality
Conduct first-off and in-process quality inspections
Identify and report machine or production issues
Complete production records and documentation accurately
Carry out routine cleaning and preventative maintenance
About you
Previous experience operating and setting up CNC waterjet cutting machines




Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and efficientlyCommitment to workplace safety and manufacturing procedures
Forklift Licence (desirable)
Experience with Omax waterjet systems (desirable)
Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment (desirable)
Permanent full-time position
4-day working week (Monday to Thursday)
36-hour roster with long weekends every week
