About the Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Automation Specialist), you'll design, deploy and manage enterprise-scale OpenShift and OpenStack infrastructure, develop automation solutions, implement end-to-end observability, and streamline developer experiences to support reliable, scalable digital services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy and automate the provisioning and scaling of OpenShift and OpenStack clusters
Implement and maintain telemetry pipelines, instrumentation and collectors across infrastructure environments




Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, automation scripts and deployment playbooksBuild and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and consistency
Monitor and optimise application and infrastructure performance across cloud platforms
Configure and manage developer tooling, including cloud IDEs and OpenShift Dev Spaces
Skills & Experience
Proven experience with enterprise-scale container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of OpenStack, private cloud infrastructure, virtualisation and Linux administration
Demonstrated expertise in telemetry, observability, instrumentation and data collection pipelines
Hands-on experience developing automation scripts, infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
Experience integrating monitoring solutions across complex infrastructure environments
Familiarity with developer workspace tooling, such as OpenShift Dev Spaces, and relevant platform certifications is advantageous
Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
