Our client, a well-established Australian engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking an Internal Sales person to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role combining technical drawing, customer interaction, and sales, making it ideal for someone who understands both the technical and commercial sides of a business.

Responsibilities
Create, modify and review drawings using CAD software (CAD experience essential)
Interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions
Prepare quotations and provide technical sales support
Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion rates
Build strong relationships with customers via phone and email
Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
Liaise with production and engineering teams regarding specifications, lead times and project requirement

Your Profile




Previous experience in an internal sales, technical sales or customer-facing role
Practical experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
The ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A proactive approach to following up opportunities and generating sales outcomes
