One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experiencedInformation Management System Administratorto support the installation, configuration and maintenance of critical software infrastructure.
The successful candidate will work across operating systems, middleware, information management platforms and database environments, ensuring systems remain stable, secure, scalable and highly available.
The successfulInformation Management System Administratorwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
Managing and supporting operating systems, infrastructure software, middleware and utility software
Administering Windows Server environments and supporting Oracle databases using SQL
Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising system software performance across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Managing software updates, upgrades, configuration,



testing and the lifecycle of information management and EDRMS platforms
The successfulInformation Management System Administratorwill have experience in the following:
Proven experience inWindows Server administration
Hands-on experience withAWS cloud infrastructure
Experience supporting middleware, operating systems and infrastructure software
Experience with database management, EDRMS/information management systems, scripting or automation
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major Federal Government environment on an initial12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options.
The role is basedonsite in Canberra.
