The Venue Manager position is crucial to ensuring each and every Social Sport participant has a great all-round experience.
A successful candidate will have endless enthusiasm for sport, enjoy fostering meaningful interactions, building rapport with participants, and have a professional manner and attention to detail.
Our Venue Managers ensure we deliver a second-to-none sporting experience each and every competition night.
Greeting & farewelling each & every participant
Establishing a fun, enjoyable & energetic playing environment
Building lasting rapport with participants & spectators
Assisting with venue-based promotional activities
Fostering solid relationships and overseeing the performance of our Match Officials (umpires & referees)




Collecting team payments via our dedicated mobile app
Dealing with participant conflict in a skilled manner
Reporting on competition happenings to Social Sport HQ
Desired Experience
Customer service/event management experience across any industry
Experience in sport is preferred but not required
Experience in sport/match officiating is preferred but not required
Other role notes
The role is casual with approximately ***** hours rostered per week
Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 2 nights per week and work Sunday afternoon/evenings
