We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Kangaroo Flat Salvos Store .

This is a permanent full-time position based in Kangaroo Flat, VIC .
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 3 .
What You Will Be Doing Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming in-store experience Assisting customers with purchases and operating Point of Sale systems Collecting,



sorting and pricing donated goods Supporting visual merchandising and maintaining an attractive store presentation Replenishing and displaying stock in line with store procedures Working collaboratively with team members and volunteers to achieve store goals Following workplace health and safety policies and procedures Demonstrating The Salvation Army's values in all aspects of your work About You We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for helping people and delivering outstanding customer service Brings previous retail experience, which is highly regarded, or experience in a customer service-focused role where you've built strong relationships and provided exceptional service Is compassionate, approachable and enjoys engaging with people from all walks of life Thrives in a team environment and contributes positively to workplace culture Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is adaptable and able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment Is flexible to work a rotating roster Shares our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity Retail experience will be highly regarded for this full-time position; however, we also welcome applicants with strong customer service experience from other industries who are passionate about people.
