The Duke is looking for an ambitious and creative Venue Manager to lead the team, grow the business and build on its reputation as a local favourite.The Duke is a modern British pub with traditional character, bringing together a TAB and sports bar, weekend DJs, live bands, weekly specials and a dining room offering table service.With a major refurbishment planned for early next year - including a family-friendly beer garden, children's playground and large outdoor TV - this is an exciting opportunity to lead the venue through its next chapter and help shape its future success.
About the role As Venue Manager, you'll take ownership of the venue's day-to-day operations, team performance, commercial results and guest experience.You'll be responsible for:Leading daily operations and delivering memorable guest experiencesDriving sales, profitability and financial performanceDeveloping sporting events, British-themed activations and live entertainmentBuilding strong relationships with regulars and the local communityRecruiting, coaching and developing a passionate hospitality teamLeading the team through the upcoming refurbishmentMaximising the venue's expanded offering, including the new outdoor spacesMaintaining high standards of service, presentation, safety and complianceCreating an environment where the team and venue can continue to grow About you You're an experienced hospitality leader with a creative approach, strong commercial awareness and a genuine understanding of British pub culture.You know how to create experiences that bring people through the doors,
