Allied Health Manager – Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital
Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital, a leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Allied Health Manager to join their dynamic team. This full-time role is located in South Wentworthville, NSW and will play a pivotal part in overseeing the delivery of exceptional allied health services to our patients.
What you'll be doing
Providing strategic leadership and management of the allied health team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and other allied health professionals
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based allied health services that meet the diverse needs of our rehabilitation patients
Developing and implementing effective allied health policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation within the allied health department
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans
Overseeing the effective management of allied health resources, including staffing, budgets, and equipment
Providing mentorship, supervision, and professional development opportunities for the allied health team
Representing the allied health department in hospital-wide meetings and initiatives
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant allied health discipline (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology)
Extensive experience (minimum 5 years)



in a management or leadership role within a healthcare setting
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary allied health team
Robust clinical expertise and a deep understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and implementing innovative solutions
Proficient in data analysis and the use of performance metrics to inform decision-making
Registration with the relevant allied health professional body (e.g., AHPRA)
