The Role
Due to growth of our Brisbane Insurance team, we're now seeking a Lawyer or Associate (1-5 years' PQE) to work alongside David Slatyer and his team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of insurance matters while working closely with experienced practitioners who are committed to your development.
You will work on a broad mix of defendant insurance matters, including:
Compulsory Third Party claims
Public liability claims
Property damage claims
Subrogated recovery actions
Insurance coverage and indemnity matters
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Between 1-5 years' PQE in defendant insurance litigation




A strategic mindset to complex disputes, confidently navigating court procedures and alternative dispute resolution
Consistently deliver results that align with client objectives
Experience working in a quick-paced environment and managing conflicting priorities
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentExcellent communication skills with a strong client service focus=
Excellent attention to detail
