FINGUARD FINANCIAL SERVICES PTY LTD 107 Miles Platting Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD **** Full Time Insurance Broker $80,000 to $90,000 + superannuation 38 hours per week Duties and Responsibilities
Assess clients' insurance needs, financial circumstances and risk exposures to identify suitable cover.
Research and compare insurance policies, premiums, exclusions and benefits across insurers.
Provide advice on insurance products and recommend appropriate coverage.
Negotiate policy terms, premiums and coverage with insurers on behalf of clients.
Prepare quotations, insurance proposals and supporting documentation, and arrange policy placement.
Manage policy renewals, amendments and cancellations, ensuring cover remains appropriate to clients' needs.
Assist clients with insurance claims and liaise with insurers throughout the claims process.
Maintain accurate client records and comply with applicable regulatory,



disclosure and qualified requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters.
Required Skills
Diploma or Advance Diploma in closely relevant field is highly preferred with minimum of 12 months employment experience in the relevant field
Strong verbal and written skills to explain insurance options, policy terms and exclusions clearly.
Ability to negotiate competitive premiums, suitable coverage and policy terms with insurers.
Accuracy in preparing quotations, applications and policy documentation.
Sound understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes and relevant compliance obligations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, client management systems and insurance platforms
English – Knowledge of additional languages other than English will be an asset
