We're a close team, we bounce things off each other, help each other out when things get busy and are always looking for better ways to do things.Key responsibilitiesPreparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships and SMSF'sPreparing BAS, IAS and FBT returnsWorking across SMSF compliance and administrationManaging your own workflow and keeping jobs movingDealing directly with clients and helping them stay on top of their tax obligationsExplaining tax and accounting matters in plain EnglishReviewing client information and picking up issues or opportunities along the wayBuilding genuine,



long-term relationships with your clientsWorking with the team to improve the way we do thingsAbout youAt least 3 years' Australian public practice tax accounting experienceStrong experience preparing financial statements and tax returnsA good understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirementsSome SMSF experience or exposureConfidence communicating directly with clientsGreat attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience with Xero and accounting/tax softwareIPA, CPA or CA qualifications, or working towards them, preferredFriendly, approachable, takes ownership of their work and genuinely enjoys helping clientsAbout usStrategic Tax & Business Solutions is a boutique accounting firm in Caboolture, servicing clients Australia wide.
