(To work a minimum of 3-4 days a week)We're a specialist planning, environment and local government law firm working with councils, developers, consultants and private clients across some of the most interesting matters in NSW.We're serious about the work we do.
We're just not particularly interested in doing law firm life the way it's always been done.THE ROLEYou'll work closely with our lawyers and play a genuine role in keeping matters moving.Preparing court documents, hearing materials and briefs to counselAssisting with chronologies, matter summaries and legal researchDrafting routine correspondence and court documentsLiaising with clients, courts, councils, barristers and consultantsManaging matter files, deadlines and key datesHelping the team prepare for hearings and courtThinking ahead and spotting what needs to happen nextThere is administration.
Of course there is.But we believe junior people should be trusted to think, not just to do.You'll be encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas and understand the matters you're working on.
You'll get exposure early, with experienced lawyers around you to provide support when you need it.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORYou don't need to know everything.
