In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conceptualising and developing fashion collections that reflect current trends whilst maintaining the unique identity of Four Fashion Australia.
You will work across the entire design process, from initial concept through to final production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative designs to life.
This position offers the prospect to make a significant creative impact and contribute to the strategic direction of our brand.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and present original fashion concepts, designs and mood boards for seasonal collectionsConduct trend research and analysis to inform design direction and keep collections contemporary and market-relevantCreate detailed sketches, technical drawings and specifications for garmentsSelect and source fabrics, trims and other materials that align with design vision and brand standardsCollaborate with pattern makers,



samplers and production teams to ensure designs are executed to specificationRefine designs based on sampling feedback and fit testingParticipate in design meetings and presentations to communicate creative concepts to stakeholdersManage multiple design projects simultaneously whilst meeting deadlinesStay informed of industry trends, competitor offerings and market developmentsContribute to the overall creative vision and brand aesthetic of Four Fashion AustraliaWhat we're looking forA degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related disciplineProven experience working as a fashion designer, ideally within a design studio, fashion house or apparel companyStrong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and ideally CLO or similar 3D design toolsExceptional drawing and sketching skills with the ability to communicate design ideas visuallySolid understanding of garment construction, fit, fabric properties and production techniquesA keen eye for colour, proportion, detail and overall aestheticKnowledge of current fashion trends and industry developmentsExcellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasksStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsPassion for fashion and commitment to design excellenceA portfolio demonstrating your design work, creative process and range of capabilitiesWhat we offerFour Fashion Australia is committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our team members.
