PurposeAs Night Auditor, you will perform end of day accounting tasks in preparation for the next day's trading while assisting guests with late night inquiries.
When the rest of the hotel is asleep, the Night Auditor stands as the calm and composed point of contact for any situation.
This role will also provide operational leadership through regular relief supervision in the absence of the Night Manager.Primary ResponsibilitiesTake charge of reception desk duties and manage the crucial night audit process, ensuring nightly reports are accurate and up to dateWork closely with security to monitor building security systems, contributing to a safe and secure workplace for guests and team membersComplete valet parking duties and safely operate guest vehicles, including manual transmissionsProvide relief supervision for a minimum of four shifts per fortnight in the absence of the Night ManagerAssist the day team with operations,



ensuring a seamless guest experience across all hours of the day and nightEmbrace the distinctive night shift roster, working predominantly from 11:00pm to 7:00amSkills & ExperienceYou are an independent worker who takes initiative and performs confidently without constant supervisionPrevious Night Audit, Front Office, Accounts or supervisory experience within a hotel environment is highly regardedStrong problem-solving skills with a guest-first approach and a passion for delivering exceptional serviceMust hold a valid licence with the right to drive in Australia and be confident driving both automatic and manual vehiclesFlexible and adaptable to a rotating roster including weekends and public holidaysDemonstrated ability to lead a shift and support team members when acting in a supervisory capacity
