We are seeking an experienced and motivated Signage Installer to join our Project team.
In this role you will be an integral member of our Signage Installation Team for our Event & Exhibition Projects, ensuring every signage installation is delivered on time, to specification and to the highest standard.Skills and ExperienceExperience in various aspects of Signage Installation, which includes:fabric/PVC bannersSAVs (Self-Adhesive Vinyl)Frosting and One-way visionlight boxesLED/NeonWillingness to learn current signage systems and installation techniquesAbility to read and interpret installation drawings, site plans and job specificationsExcellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with OHS documentation including JSAs, SWMS and works permits highly desirableWhite Card and current Australian Driver's Licence essentialEWP or Boom licence and Working at Heights certification essentialMust be available to work after hours and weekends where requiredSound knowledge of WH&S; practicesYour duties will include:Install and decommission signage projects on time,



on budget and to a high level of finishLiaise with the Installation Manager and other internal operations and sales department entities (and from time-to-time external entities/parties) to clarify job briefs and production/installation specificationsCoordinate with the Installation Manager to execute site audits (where necessary), installation crews, site access requirements, and timing for each jobAssist with logistics planning to arrange timely delivery and collection of signage items to and from event sitesEnsure you and the team receive complete job information including delivery addresses, site contacts, induction requirements, installation drawings and access instructions, well in advance of each stageMaintain a real-time view of job status across installation and transport, escalating any risks to schedule or quality promptly to the Installation ManagerEnsure compliance with client site safety requirements and OHS obligations including JSAs, SWMS and works permitsWork across Victoria's major events and exhibitions including the Australian Open, F1 Grand Prix and Spring Racing CarnivalTravel to regional Victoria or interstate if requiredIf you're looking for a secure, growth-oriented role where you can be at the heart of Melbourne's best events and exhibitions, this is your opportunity to join Harry the Hirer and help us make every event exceptional.
