This is a casual position offering flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.
As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in helping families navigate difficult transitions and resolve disputes in a constructive, neutral manner.
This position is fundamental to our mission of providing accessible, professional mediation services that support families through challenging circumstances and promote amicable outcomes.What you'll be doingConducting family mediation sessions with individuals, couples and families to facilitate resolution of disputes relating to parenting matters.Providing neutral, impartial support to help parties identify common ground and develop mutually acceptable solutionsAssessing suitability of cases for mediation and screening for issues such as domestic violence or power imbalancesMaintaining detailed records of mediation sessions in accordance with professional standards and legal requirementsAdhering to confidentiality protocols and professional codes of conduct throughout all interactions.What we're looking forAccreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner or equivalent qualification recognised under the Family Law Act **** (Cth)Demonstrated experience in conducting mediation sessions and resolving disputes.Current skilled indemnity insurance or eligibility to obtain it.What we offerFlexibility to work on a casual basis, allowing you to balance professional commitments with personal prioritiesOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in families' lives during significant life transitionsWork located in the pleasant Burleigh Heads area with a professional office environmentAbout usGold Coast Mediation & Resolution is a dedicated mediation service committed to helping individuals and families resolve disputes constructively and amicably.
