At SSKB, we're looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team in February ****.
We're not just looking for someone to follow a marketing calendar.
We want someone who sees opportunities, brings forward ideas, and enjoys turning them into reality.
Working closely with the Marketing & Events Manager, you'll have the opportunity to contribute across a broad range of marketing activities including social media, content creation, events, EDMs, websites, photography, video and brand projects.
One day you might be coordinating a client event, the next creating social content, writing an article, updating a website or helping develop a new campaign.
We can teach you strata.
We're more interested in finding a great marketer with initiative, creativity and a willingness to get involved.
About The Role
You'll support the delivery of SSKB's marketing and events program across the Company, including:
Events & Webinars
Coordinate client seminars, webinars, conferences, award evenings and internal events
Manage registrations, venues, catering, presenters, suppliers and event logistics
Prepare event collateral, run sheets and post-event reporting
Help prepare event budgets
Content & Communications
Create and schedule EDMs, staff newsletters and event invitations
Plan, create and manage organic social media content
Write and edit articles, website content and marketing copy




Support proposal development for the Business Development team
Digital, Creative & Brand
Maintain and update website content
Coordinate photography, video and creative assets
Assist with SEO activities and digital marketing campaigns
Create presentations, collateral and branded marketing materials
Reporting & Projects
Prepare monthly marketing reports across social media, EDMs, website performance and campaigns
Coordinate suppliers and support new marketing initiatives and projects
Support budget reporting and event success
The Person We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can get things done, but who also has ideas about how we could do things better.
Ideally, you'll bring
Experience coordinating marketing activities, campaigns or corporate events
Experience managing social media content and reporting
Experience creating EDMs and email campaigns
Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Confidence working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
A willingness to contribute ideas and take initiative




Flexibility to attend occasional events outside standard business hours
A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel regularly between Brisbane and the Gold Coast
Experience with some of the following: Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress and Elementor, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Office
Great to have, but not essential
Video editing and production (including Adobe Premiere Pro)
Photography and image editing (including Adobe Photoshop)
Meta and Google advertising
SEO and website optimisation
Using AI tools to support content, research and productivity
Strata, property or body corporate management
