In this role you will be responsible for managing onsite resources, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will supervise tradespersons, trade assistants, and apprentices, providing both technical and leadership support.
The position requires balancing hands-on hydraulic expertise with workforce planning, customer engagement,



and maintaining compliance with safety and quality systems.Key ResponsibilitiesManage onsite labour and equipment to achieve optimal utilisation and efficiencySupervise and monitor work progress to ensure quality outcomes and timely completionProvide technical hydraulic support, including installation, removal, and live testing of equipmentScope, plan, and allocate resources for site jobs in collaboration with the Service Manager and workshop teamOversee and complete customer preventative maintenance documentation and service reportsContribute to quotes, bids, and tenders through accurate scoping supportParticipate in the after-hours on-call roster, directing calls and supporting urgent jobsBuild solid client relationships through professional communication and service deliveryEnsure all tasks are completed in compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental standardsQualifications & ExperienceTrade qualification (preferably Fitting and Turning/Mechanical) with a minimum of 5 years' trade or supervisory experienceDemonstrated leadership experience managing a team in the engineering or hydraulics industriesStrong technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and general engineeringExperience in a hydraulics workshop servicing mining, maritime, or related industriesSound understanding of OH&S;, Environmental, and EEO legislationExcellent organisational, problem-s...
