This is a full time position based in Hume, ACT ****.
The HSEQ Manager will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) strategies across our operations.
This position is integral to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, minimising risk, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
You will report to senior leadership and collaborate across all departments to drive continuous improvement in our HSEQ performance.Key responsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSEQ policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standardsConduct regular workplace audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvementInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrenceMonitor and analyse HSEQ performance metrics and KPIs, preparing regular reports and presenting findings to senior management and stakeholdersProvide training and coaching to employees on HSEQ matters, including induction programmes, safety awareness, and statutory compliance trainingLiaise with external bodies, including regulatory authorities and external auditors,
