As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and operationally strong People and Culture Manager to lead our HR function from our Hendra headquarters.The RoleThis is a senior leadership position responsible for leading and delivering the full people and culture function across a national workforce.The People and Culture Manager plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, strengthening leadership capability, driving performance frameworks and supporting operational leaders in a highly regulated aviation environment.This role matters because our industry demands precision, compliance and strong people leadership.
You will be responsible for ensuring our workforce strategies align with operational outcomes, regulatory requirements and long term organisational growth.This is a full time, in office role based at AVCRO HQ in Hendra, however will require travel interstate to our various ports as required.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end to end HR function across recruitment, onboarding, performance,



employee relations and workforce planningProvide strategic and operational advice to senior leaders on people mattersInterpret and apply Awards, EBAs and relevant employment legislationManage complex employee relations matters including investigations, performance management and compliance riskManage and maintain our Visa applications and complianceDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures and governance frameworksSupport cultural alignment and engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with Fair Work, WorkCover and aviation regulatory obligations such as CASAManage Workcover claims and cases from start to finishWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in a senior HR or People and Culture leadership roleStrong working knowledge of Australian employment law, Awards and EBAsDemonstrated experience managing complex employee relations and investigations in a heavily unionised environmentExperience operating within regulated or compliance driven environmentsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of discretion and professionalismFormal qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or related disciplineExperience within aviation, engineering, rail, transport or other highly regulated industriesExperience in unionised workforcesExperience implementing leadership development and workforce planning programsWhy Join AVCRO?
