About the roleNegri Contractors is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Melbourne.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing civil construction projects and ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating teams, and maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
This role is essential to our operational success and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on significant infrastructure projects across the Melbourne region.Key responsibilitiesSupervising and coordinating construction crews and subcontractors on civil construction sites to ensure productive project deliveryMonitoring progress against project schedules and budgets, reporting regularly to project managementConducting daily site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and contractual requirementsImplementing and enforcing health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnelManaging site logistics, including equipment, materials, and resource allocationCommunicating with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to address concerns and provide project updatesDocumenting site activities, incidents, and progress through detailed record-keeping and daily reportsTraining and mentoring crew members to develop their skills and promote best practices on siteIdentifying and resolving issues that may impact project delivery, safety,
