Princi Food Services / Princi Butchers is now hiring: 1 Butcher & 1 Cook

We are seeking skilled and reliable applicants to join our team full-time.

Butcher
Duties and responsibilities:

- Inspecting raw ingredients and meat products to verify freshness, quality, and compliance with standards before use or sale
- Cutting, deboning, trimming excess fat, and shaping portions of meat according to display requirements or specific customer requests
- Grinding, mincing, blending, and tenderising meat using specialised processing equipment
- Producing sausages and other smallgoods by preparing selected cuts and operating fillers, smokers, kettles, and cooking vats
- Creating flavour blends, brines, marinades, and curing mixtures by combining spices, salts, and other components
- Coating selected cuts with crumbs, applying marinades, and curing premium portions for value-added products
- Advising customers on appropriate meat selections, cooking methods, and best uses for various cuts

Skills and experience:?

- Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
- Good attitude, solid work ethic and knowledge of meat products and operating machines.

Position (Butcher): Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)




Location (Butcher): 2/46 Ladner St, O’connor 6162 WA

Salary range (Butcher):?$76,000 – 85,000 per year

Cook

- Assisting with production planning, cost estimation, and scheduling to support efficient kitchen or retail operations
- Cooking meals using ovens, grills, and other appliances while carefully controlling heat levels and cooking times
- Enhancing dishes by adjusting seasoning levels throughout the cooking process
- Plating meals by dividing into portions and finishing with sauces, gravies, and decorative garnishes
- Preserving raw and prepared foods in refrigerated or temperature-regulated storage areas
- Preparing specialised meals tailored to specific dietary or nutritional requirements

Skills and experience:?

- Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
- The right candidate will have attention to details and will be able to work under pressure.
