Full-Time Assistant Baker

Job Summary

Manila in Canberra Bakery is seeking a Full time Assistant Baker to support the daily production of Filipino breads, pastries, cakes and baked products. The successful candidate will work closely with the bakery team to ensure consistent quality and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and baking of breads, pastries and baked goods.
- Weigh, mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
- Prepare Filipino bakery products such as pandesal, ensaymada, spanish bread and other traditional baked goods.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Assist with packaging, labelling and stock rotation.
- Support early morning production schedules.

Requirements

- Previous bakery or food production experience preferred.

-Experience with Filipino-style breads and pastries is highly regarded.

- Ability to work early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
