Boxing Australia is the national sporting organisation for amateur boxing in Australia.
Boxing Australia is seeking nominations for one (1) Elected Director and two (2) Appointed Director positions to join the board.
We want Directors who will question and challenge constructively, bring diverse views, influence others and work proactively to find solutions. Boxing Australia is committed to a diverse and inclusive culture and encourage applications from women and gender diverse people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from multicultural and regional communities, and people with disability.
We are specifically looking for leaders with skills and experience in the following strategic areas:
- Finance, Accounting, or Audit
- Commercial Partnerships, Events, and Sponsorship
- High-Performance Sporting Expertise.
Available Positions
- Elected Director (1 Position): Elected by members at the AGM on Friday 27 November 2026 for a three-year term.
- Appointed Directors (2 Positions): Appointed by the Board post-AGM for a term of up to three years.

All nominees must submit a cover letter explaining how they meet the desired skills, along with a current CV.
- For the Elected Position: Along with a cover letter and CV, submit the official Boxing Australia Nomination Form (signed by you and an eligible nominator, such as a State Association, Director, Board or Committee) and a signed Consent to Act as a Director. Note: If you do not have a nominator, you may submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Committee's consideration.
- For the Appointed Positions: Submit an EOI, cover letter, and CV.
