At Graphic Art Mart North Rocks, we're looking for an experienced Branch Sales & Customer Service Lead to become an significant part of our friendly, established team.

You'll work closely with our Branch Manager, lead the day-to-day customer service function and stay involved in what you do best – talking to customers, solving problems, identifying sales opportunities and helping the team succeed.

This isn't a role where you'll be managing from the sidelines. You'll be hands-on, have plenty of variety in your day and have the opportunity to bring your experience and ideas to the business.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the go-to person for the customer service team and a key support to the Branch Manager, balancing day-to-day leadership with sales, customer service and branch operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating the customer service team, providing guidance, direction and support throughout the day.
- Building strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products and solutions.
- Following up quotes, identifying sales opportunities and helping grow existing customer accounts.
- Managing customer enquiries, orders, web orders, credits and claims accurately and efficiently.
- Taking ownership of more complex customer matters and finding practical solutions.
- Working closely with the Branch Manager to manage priorities, support team performance and maintain high service standards.
- Liaising with warehouse, supply chain and other branches to coordinate stock availability, orders and deliveries.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes,



reduce errors and make the customer experience even better.

About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, is commercially minded and has the confidence and experience to lead a team.

You'll be personable, approachable and comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers. You'll also be someone who takes initiative, makes decisions and follows things through, while knowing how to get the best out of those around you.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Solid experience in internal sales, customer service or a similar customer-facing role, preferably with some leadership or supervisory responsibility.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- A genuine interest in sales, identifying opportunities and achieving results.
- The ability to provide clear direction, support experienced colleagues and manage challenging situations.
- Good organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving and getting things done.
- Strong administration and computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems and product information quickly.

Experience in the sign, digital or display industry would be highly regarded, although a background in trade sales, wholesale, distribution or another product-based business could also be a great fit.
