About the Role

Smith & Co Recruitment is partnering with multiple established and growing civil contractors delivering a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects throughout Southeast Queensland and regional QLD.

We're currently seeking experienced Civil Project Managers for opportunities across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and regional Queensland, with local, FIFO and relocation options available depending on the contractor and project.

Projects span TMR roads, subdivisions, water infrastructure, FRP, piling, bulk earthworks, utilities and major civil infrastructure. Depending on the opportunity, you'll take ownership of project delivery, lead construction teams and manage commercial performance from planning through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead civil projects from mobilisation to final handover
- Manage budgets, forecasts, contracts and procurement
- Direct Engineers,



Supervisors and subcontractor teams
- Drive project programmes, milestones and cost outcomes
- Oversee site safety, quality and compliance standards
- Build robust relationships with clients and consultants
- Monitor project risks, resources and commercial performance

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

- Proven experience managing civil construction projects
- Background in TMR, roads, subdivision, water, FRP, piling or earthworks
- Strong understanding of contracts, budgets and forecasting
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams
- Experience managing programmes and project delivery
- Civil Engineering qualifications
- Exposure to major infrastructure and regional projects
- Experience across multiple civil construction disciplines
