Our client is an emerging civil engineering consultancy that has been established to support the planning, design and delivery of residential, commercial and industrial development projects throughout the region. Backed by an experienced team with a proven track record in land development and construction, they're building a consultancy focused on practical solutions, quality outcomes and long-term growth.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a Civil Designer who wants more than just another desk job. This is an opportunity to play a key role in projects from concept through to completion while helping shape the future direction of a new and exciting consultancy.

About the Role
You'll work closely with engineers, surveyors, project teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and practical civil designs across a variety of land development projects.
This role offers variety and the chance to be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design and approvals to construction support and project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare concept, functional and detailed civil engineering designs
- Produce technical drawings and documentation using CAD software.
- Assist with project documentation, reports and approval submissions.
- Conduct site visits, investigations and data collection activities
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Provide design support during construction and assist with design revisions
- Liaise with clients, government authorities, consultants, surveyors and service authorities.

What We're Looking For




We're seeking a motivated and detail-focused professional who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in producing quality work.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience using AutoCAD and MS Office software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Current Australian driver's licence.

Highly Regarded

- Experience with 12D, Civil3D or other advanced CAD software.
- Experience in drainage design and modelling.
- Exposure to geospatial software and project management systems.
- White Card.
