Senior Associate – Corporate and Commercial Law

Our client, a well regarded boutique legal practice specialising in corporate and commercial law, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate with 5+ years’ post qualification experience to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior, client facing role with genuine autonomy and involvement in a practice undergoing an exciting period of expansion, including the acquisition of another firm.

About the Role

You will handle a broad and varied caseload, including:

- Advising SME clients on acquisitions, structuring, and corporate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements and commercial contracts
- Managing a range of commercial property matters, including leasing and development work
- Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice directly to clients
- Running matters with minimal supervision, with scope to take on broader practice responsibilities

About You

- 5+ years' PAE in Australia,



with strong corporate and commercial law experience (commercial property highly desirable)
- Confidence managing a diverse client base and independent matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach with leadership capability
- Experience in a boutique or mid sized firm environment preferred
- A strong commitment to client service and professional excellence
