Contour’s first QLD campus is live, and you're the one who drives the sales and growth that take it state-wide. Contour is growing beyond Victoria. Our teaching model, tutors and campuses are proven. What we need now is the leader who takes that model forward in QLD, building the team, fills the campuses and makes the state work.

We already teach students in Brisbane and are opening more campuses across the city in 2027. Year-round academic support is less common in Queensland, so your job is to build demand, show families why starting early matters for their QCE and ATAR, and build a campus team that can grow with it.

As our General Manager, QLD, you’ll own how the state performs: enrolments and revenue, campus quality, and the local sales and campus teams. You'll lead our Campus Leaders, build school and community partnerships, and be the face of Contour in the state. You'll report to our VP of Sales and work closely with our national campus operations team. This role is built to grow: as the state grows, so do your team, your budget and your scope.

Who We Are

Contour was founded in 2020 by students who saw that the quality of your education was basically a lottery. Teachers stretched thin by the system, learning materials that varied from school to school, and support that stopped the moment you left the classroom.

We began with 5 students in a room. Today 15,000+ students have trusted Contour as their academic partners, and we've grown to 500+ team members across 10 campuses in Australia. In 2025 we ranked #8 on the AFR Fast 100 of fastest-growing companies.

We've produced hundreds of 99+ ATARs, tutored the world-record UCAT scorer, and placed 850+ students into medical and dental schools across Australia.

Contour is made up of three brands:





- Contour Education → academic performance in high school
- Contour MedPrep → entry into medical and dental schools
- Contour TestPrep → entry into selective and scholarship schools

What You Will Do

You'll carry QLD’s numbers personally, lead the state, from first enquiry to a full, well-run campus.

- Lead the state: Own the state plan, report weekly on enrolments, campuses and team, and be the person accountable for results.
- Own market entry: Turn central Marketing’s demand into enrolments through local catchments, schools, community relationships and campuses. Carry the close yourself while the team is small.
- Lead the campus team: Lead, coach and hire Campus Leaders, and make sure every campus runs to our standard, from rostering and printing to safety and compliance.
- Schools and community: Build relationships with schools, careers advisers and community groups, and run workshops and parent evenings that lead to enrolments.
- Build the state team: Hire and lead a local sales team, Campus Leaders and the operations layer, ahead of enrolments and campus openings. The team’s number is your number, delivered within the state budget.

What You Will Bring
- Experience leading a multi-site team or region, with site leaders reporting to you.
- A record of owning a sales, enrolment or growth target and hitting it, with numbers you can point to.
- Experience building and leading a sales team that hit its number.
- Experience opening,



launching or growing sites, a region or a market from a small base.
- Experience managing a budget or a site, region or state P&L.;
- Hands-on operational experience: rostering, compliance, safety and service standards.
- Experience in a high-trust service sold to families, ideally education, tutoring, childcare, health or similar.
- Confidence presenting to parents, students and school leaders.
- Comfort with you read conversion, utilisation and cost numbers and act on them.
- Knowledge of the QCE and the local schools landscape, or the drive to learn it fast.
- Daily use of AI tools to work faster and smarter.
- Based in Brisbane area, with full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays to meet operational requirements
