- Annual Salary: AUD $75,000–$80,000 plus superannuation
- Commencement: Successful applicants must be available to commence employment within four weeks.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menu specifications, and established quality standards.
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ensure food is cooked and presented consistently to a high standard.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Monitor ingredient quality, stock levels, and food storage.
- Assist with stock rotation, portion control, and minimising food waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen workplace.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following requirements:





- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery as a minimum qualification.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience working in a busy restaurant environment. Indian cuisine knowledge is required.

- Practical knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and commercial kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and safe food-handling practices.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
- Availability to commence employment within four weeks.
