Represent a premium outdoor heating brand and grow its presence across high-end residential projects in Sydney. You'll help architects, designers and builders understand how outdoor heating can improve comfort and usability while complementing the design intent of a home. Reporting to the General Manager, Heating APAC, you'll grow the NSW and ACT territory through proactive prospecting, an existing contact database and digitally generated enquiries. This requires more than securing a specification. You'll qualify opportunities, understand project requirements, influence product selection and follow projects through to purchase. You'll build awareness across a broad base of practices while developing trusted relationships with the people who influence and deliver projects. The primary focus is residential, with scope to pursue suitable commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

Identify, qualify and convert opportunities through outbound calls, client visits, existing contacts and digitally generated leads

Build relationships with architects, interior and landscape designers, builders, developers and project managers

Present product solutions suited to each project's design, technical and practical requirements

Deliver engaging CPD presentations, product demonstrations and lunch-and-learn sessions

Prepare tailored proposals addressing project goals, design aesthetics and relevant sustainability requirements

Navigate the specification and construction process, negotiate effectively and maintain momentum through to purchase

Develop a focused plan for your territory, prioritising practices, projects and market opportunities with genuine potential

Manage leads, contacts, projects and conversion activity in HubSpot,



using AI-assisted tools and marketing campaigns to support prospecting

Coordinate with customer service and operations, keep clients informed and resolve enquiries promptly

Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear reporting on pipeline health, conversions, sales performance and market insights

About you

At least three years' experience in a current business role that involves the building industry, architecture, design or construction

An interest in high-end residential architecture, interiors and outdoor living

Proven prospecting and business development skills, including confidence with cold calling and telephone engagement

An understanding of construction processes, specification cycles and the stakeholders who influence purchasing decisions

Strong presentation, written communication and negotiation skills

The ability to sell on value, explain technical product details and tailor solutions to project requirements

Experience managing opportunities through a CRM, ideally HubSpot, and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Strong organisation, practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service

Background could include architectural lighting, premium fixtures, windows and doors, flooring, façades, heating or other products specified into residential projects

Relevant channel development experience, particularly where you have introduced products, developed new partners and generated demand
