Front of House Team — Baristas, Bar Staff & Waitstaff

Inner West Sydney | New venue opening late November / early December

STUZZi is a brand-new Italian-inspired deli, café and neighbourhood restaurant coming to Sydney’s vibrant Inner West — and we’re looking for an enthusiastic front of house team to join us from day one.

We’re hiringBaristas, Bar Staff and Waitstaffacross both full-time and casual positions.

PLEASE NOTE: A valid NSW RSA certificate is required for all positions.

STUZZi is a brand-new Italian-inspired deli, café and neighbourhood restaurant coming to Sydney's Inner West. The FOH team will work across a rotating roster, with dedicated barista, bar and floor positions depending on the shift and your experience. By day, STUZZi will serve breakfast and lunch seven days a week. From Thursday to Saturday evenings, the venue will transform into a stuzzichini bar, serving small Italian-inspired plates, drinks and snacks in a relaxed neighbourhood setting. Whether you're a barista who loves great coffee, a bartender who knows their way around a cocktail, or a waiter who takes pride in exceptional table service, you'll play an important role in creating the warm, welcoming and professional experience STUZZi guests expect.

Key responsibilities

- Greet, welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide attentive and genuine table service throughout the guest experience
- Take and deliver orders accurately and efficiently
- Work confidently across your designated area — floor, bar or coffee
- Support other areas of FOH when required
- Operate the POS system accurately and handle payments and cash responsibly
- Maintain clean, organised and well-presented guest areas




- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wider team throughout service
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety

About you

- A valid RSA
- Strong spoken English and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- A positive attitude and genuine team spirit
- Reliability and punctuality
- The ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
- A willingness to support your team and jump in where needed

For Baristas: Solid experience working as a barista in a busy café or restaurant, confidence working independently on the coffee machine, strong knowledge of coffee preparation and service. Must have RSA.

For Bar Staff: Experience working behind a bar in a restaurant or hospitality venue, confidence preparing cocktails and a range of drinks, robust knowledge of responsible alcohol service.

For Wait Staff: We’re looking for experienced waitstaff who genuinely enjoy hospitality and take pride in looking after guests.
