We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our meat wholesaler operation in Yamanto QLD 4305. In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facility, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

- Performing daily cleaning and sanitation of all work areas, including production floors, cold storage facilities and equipment
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery in accordance with safety protocols
- Preparing and using appropriate cleaning solutions and disinfectants suitable for food processing environments
- Disposing of waste materials safely and responsibly in compliance with health and environmental regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of staff areas, including break rooms and facilities




- Reporting any damage to equipment or facilities that may affect operations or safety
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations specific to meat wholesaling operations

About you

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, ideally within food processing, meat handling or hospitality environments
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards relevant to meat wholesaling operations
- Reliability and punctuality, with strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing cleaning tasks
