Heads of Noosa Brewing Company is seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic hospitality team in Noosaville, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the smooth operation of our kitchen. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team, ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional food and beverage experiences in a welcoming brewery environment. This position is perfect for those looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry or build upon existing kitchen skills.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and organising ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other food items
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Assisting chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as directed
- Managing waste disposal and ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations
- Restocking kitchen supplies and maintaining inventory of essential items
- Supporting the smooth flow of kitchen operations during service periods
- Following food safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Assisting with general kitchen duties and tasks as required by senior kitchen staff

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
- A genuine passion for hospitality and food preparation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual shifts as required
- Positive teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods whilst performing kitchen duties
- Food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain relevant certificates
