Earnr is a non-bank savings platform built by former leaders at Australia’s major banks.
With banks skewed to favour borrowers over savers, and boutique investment groups catering to a privileged few, we put savers at the heart of everything we do.
Our mission is simple: to help Australian consumers and businesses optimise the return on every dollar, safely.
We give Australians access to cash management tools and a range of income accounts offering returns of up to 7.35% p.a.
Powered by our proprietary in-house technology, we’ve handled hundreds of millions of dollars in savings flows for home-savers, individuals, businesses, trusts, SMSFs, and fund managers.
But we’re just getting started. We’re hiring a small number of exceptional people to help take Earnr to more Australians - and become the number one platform Australian consumers and businesses turn to for their savings.
About the role
This broad, hands‑on role puts you at the heart of Earnr, with visibility across the entire business.
Working autonomously and supported by our automated financial and operational systems, you’ll own liquidity and treasury management, financial and risk reporting, and day‑to‑day operations.
You’ll be a commercially minded, confident communicator who partners directly with the CEO, turning financial and operational insight into decisions.
Robust analytical skills, sound risk awareness, and the ability to understand how a regulated financial services business operates end‑to‑end, are critical.
The role will suit someone with strong technical skills in accounting and finance, who wants a broader remit across treasury, operations, credit and risk management.
You’ll be technology‑savvy and excited to work with our engineering team to continually improve how the business operates.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations across Earnr's fund, SPV and corporate entities, including treasury, accounting, processes and operational governance.
- Control cash movements, allocations, maturities, bank accounts, payments and reconciliations, resolving exceptions and maintaining treasury controls.
- Manage daily and monthly liquidity positions across trust and spventities, including cash flow forecasting and upcoming funding requirements.
- Provide escalation support for customer and transaction enquiries requiring financial, treasury or risk expertise.
- Manage monthly risk exposure reporting, including monitoring portfolio concentrations, capital buffers and risk tolerances, and conducting scenario analysis and stress testing.
- Act as the commercial voice of finance: analyse product economics, margins and business drivers, and bring clear, well‑argued recommendations to the CEO and leadership team on pricing, funding and strategy.
- Maintain and improve operational controls supporting risk approvals, audits and compliance obligations, including AML/CTF, product disclosure and relevant tax requirements.
- Own financial and treasury reporting for management, shareholders and investors, including monthly close and management accounts, and support annual financial statements, audit, tax and regulatory reporting.
- Work closely with product and engineering to continually improve and automate financial, risk and operational processes, leveraging our technology, data and AI capabilities.
- Manage banking and financial services counterparty relationships, support commercial discussions and work with the CEO on strategic initiatives.

- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with an eye for trends, anomalies and underlying business drivers.
- Proven ability to turn financial and business data into clear, compelling reports and recommendations that influence decisions at board and executive level.
- Track record of operating independently in a fast-moving environment, with sound commercial judgement and a bias for action.
