We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Material Handling Coordinator (Rigger/Dogman), to join our contingent workforce working onsite in Potts Point.

You will alongside a highly skilled team, which is a mix of skilled trades, contractors and Defence personnel. You’ll work on a range of critical maritime projects, including the maintenance of both commercial and Royal Australian Navy vessels.

This is a Casual role, offering consistent full time hours and overtime opportunities, with potential for permanent transition should a suitable role become available.

You will undertake multi-skilled activities including:

- Working in a variety of environments onsite including onboard & external areas of vessels, as well as within the workshop
- Rigging duties including inspections (fit for use)
- Heavy lifts (Bow-Thruster’s, Propellers, Propeller Blades & Propeller Shafts and
- Rudders etc), and other awkward shaped loads
- Work with Forklifts, EWP, Working at Heights, Mobile & Portal cranes as a Dogman / Rigger
