About the Opportunity

Due to continued occupancy growth across our Ballarat network,



we are seeking enthusiastic and reliable casual educators who can support our services as staffing needs and enrolments increase.

As a casual educator, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our established teams, build relationships with children and families, and contribute to high-quality early learning experiences.

Depending on operational requirements, shifts may be available across our Ballarat services, including Delacombe, Sebastopol, Miners Rest and Hertford Street.

We're looking for educators who are flexible, adaptable and willing to work collaboratively with different teams while maintaining consistent, high-quality practices.

- Create safe, nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
- Understand the importance of active supervision, child safety and safeguarding.
- Build respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Value teamwork, accountability and open communication.
- Are committed to reflective practice, continuous improvement and ongoing learning.
- Can adapt to different rooms, age groups and service environments as required.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold,



or be willing to meet the requirements for the role, including:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or another qualification recognised as suitable for the position.
- A current Victorian Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, as required for the position.
- Current child protection training and required child safety training.
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one if required.
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and relevant regulatory requirements.
