This is a diverse role involving houseboat maintenance, repairs, building projects and guest service at Moama on Murray Houseboats, a premier Murray River tourism business. We particularly welcome applicants with strong practical ability, initiative, reliability and a willingness to learn. Training can be provided.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining houseboats, outboards, generators and other machinery
- Assisting with building repairs, welding, renovations and upgrades
- Preparing boats and equipment for guest arrivals
- Welcoming guests, conducting boat orientations and resolving problems
- Maintaining trailers, vehicles, workboats and other business equipment
- Participating in the after-hours and weekend on-call roster
- Assisting with boat construction, projects and general operations

- General mechanical, building, welding or maintenance skills welcomed
