We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable 2IC / Assistant Store Manager to join our Wagga Wagga team.

This is an chance for someone who enjoys leading by example, takes pride in running a great store and wants to build a long-term career in retail leadership.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the team, driving sales and ensuring our high standards are maintained.

For the right person, this role offers the potential to progress into Store Manager and take on greater responsibility for the Wagga Wagga business over time.

The Role

As our 2IC, you'll be a key member of the leadership team, helping ensure the store operates smoothly and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading by example on the shop floor and delivering outstanding customer service.

- Supporting, motivating and developing team members.

- Assisting with daily store operations and taking ownership when the Store Manager is unavailable.

- Driving sales performance and helping the team achieve store targets.

- Maintaining high standards of store presentation, merchandising and stock management.

- Helping train new team members and build a positive, accountable team culture.

- Identifying opportunities to improve store performance and the customer experience.

- Supporting rostering, operational procedures and other management responsibilities as required.

As you grow into the role,



you'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership and operational skills in preparation for potential future Store Manager responsibilities.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is confident, motivated and ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous retail experience, preferably in a senior sales, supervisory or team leadership role.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.

- A proactive, hands‑on approach and a willingness to lead from the front.

- Commercial awareness and an interest in driving sales and achieving targets.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Strong organisational skills, reliability and attention to detail.

- The confidence to make decisions, solve problems and take responsibility.

- A genuine desire to develop into a Store Manager in the future.

Position Details

- Location: Blowes Clothing, Wagga Wagga NSW

- Employment: Full-time

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, and Saturday, 9:00am–2:00pm, with rostered days off.

- Remuneration: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and capability.
