We are seeking a full-time Dispense Technician to join our pharmacy team in Rosebud. This is a key operational role that plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients. As a Dispense Technician, you will be at the heart of our pharmacy operations, working closely with our pharmacists and the wider healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care and maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice.

What you'll be doing

- Accurately dispensing medications according to prescriptions and pharmacist instructions, ensuring precision and attention to detail
- Preparing and labelling prescription items in compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records of all dispensed items and inventory management systems
- Processing prescription requests from customers and healthcare providers in a timely manner
- Assisting with the receipt, storage and rotation of pharmaceutical stock to ensure proper inventory control
- Supporting pharmacists during the checking and verification of prescriptions
- Providing courteous and professional customer service to patients and members of the public
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with pharmacy standards
- Contributing to the smooth running of pharmacy operations and assisting with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for





- Current Pharmacy Technician or Dispense Technician certification or qualification recognised in Victoria
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medications and dispensing procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of practice
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and computer software
- Clear communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers and colleagues
- A commitment to patient safety and understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Previous pharmacy dispensing experience is highly desirable
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive approach to teamwork
