Frosty Build is looking for experienced cool room and insulated panel installers to join our team.

We welcome both skilled installers who enjoy working on the tools and experienced leading hands who want to take responsibility for a crew. You do not need to supervise others to apply—we value practical experience, quality workmanship and reliable people.

About Frosty Build

Frosty Build supplies and installs cool rooms, freezers, clean rooms and insulated panel systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Our work includes current installations, retail, food factory upgrades, shutdown works, doors, repairs and maintenance and much more. We deliver projects mainly in Victoria sometimes interstate.

The work

- Reading drawings, checking dimensions and setting out installations.
- Installing insulated wall and ceiling panels, including EPS-FR, PIR and XFLAM systems.
- Installing ceiling suspension systems and associated supports to project requirements.
- Installing flashings, trims, coving, sealants and vapour seals.
- Installing coolroom and freezer door frames, sliding doors and hinged doors.
- Completing alterations, repairs and maintenance to existing rooms.
- Working safely alongside other installers and site trades.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, finishing and site presentation.

For those interested in a leading hand position,



additional responsibilities include organising daily tasks, coordinating a small crew, planning materials and communicating with site supervisors and the director.

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated hands-on experience installing coolrooms, freezers or comparable insulated panel rooms.
- Confidence completing installation tasks within your area of experience.
- Attention to panel alignment, levels, sealing and finishing details.
- A reliable approach, clear communication and the ability to work well with others.
- A current White Card and driver’s licence.
- Ability to travel to different project sites.

Experience with food processing facilities, shutdown works, freezer construction and door installation will be highly regarded. Relevant EWP, working at heights and forklift qualifications are also valued.

Leadership experience is welcome but is not essential. If you are an experienced installer who prefers to focus on the tools, we would like to hear from you.
