HCDC supports people going through high-conflict separation and connects them with the right family law and support services.
The role
This is a growth-focused practice management role. You’ll run the commercial side of our partner relationships: winning new partner firms, managing existing ones, reporting on performance, invoicing and collecting payments, and finding where the business can grow next. You’ll also support clients through their early engagement with partner firms.
It suits an experienced legal practice manager who enjoys the commercial and growth side of the job. There’s no trust accounting or compliance administration.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, approach and onboard new partner law firms.
- Manage and develop existing partner relationships through regular reviews and check-ins.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue, partner engagement and service reach.
- Prepare regular performance reports for the business and for partner firms.
- Track key metrics and turn the data into clear recommendations.
- Issue accurate, timely invoices to partner firms.
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up to ensure prompt payment.
- Support clients through their first engagement with partner firms, from preparation and meetings to follow-up.
- Coordinate with the intake team so client handovers are smooth.
- Keep CRM records and processes accurate and continually improve them.
- Work within clear qualified boundaries, providing support and advocacy but never legal advice.
About you
- Experience leading a team with commercial or partnership goals.
- Strong sales and account management skills with professional services firms, ideally in family law.
- A deep understanding of high-conflict separation and family violence, and how to support people safely.
- Lived or professional experience of high-conflict family law matters .
- Experience running a intake or client success function in your own practice or law firm.
- You may have current accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution practitioner (highly desirable).
