We’re seeking an experienced APS6 Senior HR Adviser to join a government organisation and support a broad range of People and Culture functions.

This opportunity would suit an experienced HR professional with solid APS knowledge who enjoys providing strategic and operational advice across a diverse range of HR matters.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing advice on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management

Supporting HR systems, reporting and capability development initiatives

Contributing to WHS governance, risk management and employee wellbeing

Developing HR policies, reports and presentations

Building effective stakeholder relationships and supporting continuous improvement

About you:

Strong understanding of APS HR frameworks, legislation and policies

Experience managing complex and sensitive HR matters

Confidence providing advice, influencing stakeholders and mentoring colleagues

Experience using data and analytics to improve HR processes

- Experience on Work Health and Safety

Relevant HR qualifications are highly desirable

Australian citizenship is required, along with a Baseline Security Clearance
