The School

ANZUK Education are currently supporting a high performing Independent School in Sydney's North in their search for a Head of English to commence in 2027. This co-educational Independent School is held in high regard for their consistently high academic outcomes, robust connection to community & modern approach to teaching & learning.

The Role

Overseeing a team of 5 staff, the Head of English will be responsible for overseeing curriculum, assessment and teaching & learning within the faculty.



This position attracts a level 2 financial allowance.

Requirements

- Teaching qualifications with a specialisation in English and / or English Literature
- NESA Accreditation or the ability to obtain registration
- Valid & paid working with children's check
- Prior to a formal offer, being able to nominate two referees from your current or recent employment
