Outdoor Power Equipment Retail Sales Casual - Stihl Honda Victa

Join UNANDERRA MOWER CENTRE (Stihl Unanderra) as an Outdoor Power Equipment Retail Sales Casual and become part of a dynamic retail team dedicated to serving our community with quality outdoor power equipment and spares. This is a casual position based in Unanderra, NSW 2526, offering flexibility whilst delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be at the forefront of our business, helping customers find the perfect outdoor power solutions for their needs, whether they're looking for lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers or other outdoor equipment. Your role is essential in building customer loyalty and driving sales for our established Stihl, Honda and Victa product lines. You will also be involved in assisting with spare parts identification and sales. The role will include 1.5 to 2.5 days per week on average including Saturday mornings.

Key responsibilities

Greeting customers warmly in person and on the phone, assessing their outdoor power equipment needs and requirements.

Demonstrating product features, benefits and specifications to customers in a clear and engaging manner

Providing expert advice on selecting the right equipment based on customer needs, budget and intended use

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale

Helping customers identify the right spare parts for their equipment

Booking in and checking out equipment repairs

Building positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals

Assisting with answering customer enquiries about product warranties, servicing, maintenance and spare parts

Supporting the team during busy periods

What we're looking for

Enthusiasm for outdoor power equipment, small engines gardening or landscaping.





Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Solid communication abilities and the capacity to explain technical information clearly to customers

Ability to identify equipment spare parts from an exploded diagram

Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems (or ability to learn quickly)

Reliability and punctuality, particularly for scheduled casual shifts

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

Physical capability to handle and move outdoor power equipment safely

A genuine passion for helping customers find solutions to their outdoor maintenance needs

Previous retail or customer service experience

Knowledge of Stihl, Honda or Victa products a bonus
