This opportunity will see you join a dedicated and supportive team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.

This position specifically focuses on overnight cleaning of operating theatres, working from 10:00 pm to 4:30 am (2200–0430). You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe workplace and supporting the hospital's infection prevention and control standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
- Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have experience in cleaning services or housekeeping services
- Experience with auto scrubbers and polish machines
- Enjoy providing a great customer service experience
- Be a team player and love to work within a large team
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
- Be dedicated to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $27.20+ superannuation,



exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW General Services Officer level 2)
