Boorowa District Hospital, a rural healthcare provider in NSW, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis for 6 to 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to work across emergency, acute, and aged care services in a multi-purpose setting, with in-charge responsibilities as part of a small, collaborative team. - Work across emergency, acute, and aged care in a rural multi-purpose hospital setting
- Take on in-charge responsibilities and contribute to clinical leadership
- Contract position, 6 to 12 weeks, starting ASAP with flexibility around end date

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in emergency department nursing,



including triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Solid background in acute care nursing with the ability to manage high-acuity presentations
- Experience working in aged care or geriatric settings
- Competence in triage protocols and emergency response procedures
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple clinical areas and assume in-charge duties when required

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent clinical experience in emergency settings
